Raúl García Castaño is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in renewable energy projects and large-scale engineering initiatives. Currently serving as Lead Electrical Engineer for a 175MWp PV Plant for Iberdrola in Spain since February 2008, Raúl has demonstrated expertise in coordinating detail electrical engineering, proposing cost-effective technical solutions, and ensuring adherence to client quality standards. Previous roles include leading electrical engineering efforts for major projects such as the Waad-al-Shamaal solar-gas Hybrid Plant in Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea Project Sewage Treatment Plant, and various thermosolar plants in Spain, Israel, and South Africa. Raúl's educational background includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla and additional training in business management and project management.
