Johan Angenete

Johan Angenete has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Johan started their career in 1989 as an Assembly Line Operator at Volvo Car Corporation and later took on internships at Schiele Graphics Group in the USA and Zimmermann Bauforme in Germany.

In 1997, Johan joined Chalmers University of Technology as a PhD student and later became a Scientist, focusing on research projects in high-temperature corrosion. Johan also worked as a Consultant and Owner at Nanoanalys, where they specialized in materials research, project management, and organizational development.

Johan's career then took him to CPAC Systems AB, where they held multiple positions. Johan started as a Key Account Manager, managing accounts for heavy vehicles and industrial machinery. Johan then became the Director of KAM Industry Segment, overseeing the strategic, tactical, and operational aspects of the industry segment. Currently, Johan serves as the Director of Strategy, Governance, and Compliance.

From 2008 to 2013, Johan worked as the CTO of Nanofactory Instruments AB, where they were responsible for product offering, R&D, production, application development, and IPR. During their time as CTO, they reorganized the product structure, resulting in improved lead times and gross margin. Johan also served as a Project Manager at Nanofactory, where they systematized the product development process.

Johan's experience extends beyond the corporate world. Johan worked as a Technical Expert at ISO/TC229 Nanotechnology and as a Project Manager at Chalmers University of Technology, where they built and managed a center for contract research in materials science.

Johan Angenete began their education in 1987 at Sigrid Rudebecks Gymnasium, where they studied science and completed their secondary education in 1990. Johan then attended Chalmers University of Technology from 1990 to 1997, earning a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics. Continuing their academic journey, Johan pursued a PhD at the same institution from 1997 to 2002, specializing in Materials Science/Physics. In 2010, they briefly studied Economics, Marketing, and Leadership at Umeå University.
