Andrew DeFaria has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Andrew currently works at cPanel as a Perl Developer II, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo as a Perl Developer from July 2019 to June 2022.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated their expertise in Perl scripting, build systems, and configuration management tools.

Andrew DeFaria began their education in 1978 at Union College - NJ, where they pursued an A.A.S degree in Computer Science until 1980. Following this, from 1981 to 1982, they attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, focusing on Computer Science. In 1990, they briefly studied Computer Science at San Jose State University for a year. Andrews's educational pursuits also include various certifications obtained later in their career. In September 2017, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification, offered by PSI Services LLC. Additionally, in August 2021, they obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Advanced MySQL and MariaDB, Git Intermediate Techniques, Git for System Administration, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Essential Training for Developers, Learning Subnetting, MySQL Advanced Topics, Networking Foundations: Networking Basics, PowerShell: Scripting for Server Administration, Python Essential Training, Python Object-Oriented Programming, and Python Standard Library Essential Training.
