Therese Rafferty

Therese Rafferty is a seasoned professional in the field of internal audit with extensive experience spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as the VP of Internal Audit at CPM Federal Credit Union since May 2022, Therese has held various significant positions, including Senior Internal Auditor at Newrez LLC and Audit Manager at First Financial Federal Credit Union of Maryland. Previous roles also include Director of Internal Audit at Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore, Inc., and Internal Audit Manager at both Provident Bank and Legg Mason. Therese has contributed to the community as an Officer & Secretary of the Western Carolina IIA and Chairperson of the Academic and Evaluation Committees for the Baltimore Chapter IIA. Holding a B.S. degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, Therese brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the internal audit profession.
