Shani Taggart

Shani Taggart is a Senior Crown Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service, specializing in the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit since November 2018, and previously in the Magistrates’ Court Unit. Shani has experience as a Trainee Solicitor with the Attorney General's Office and the Law Commission of England and Wales. Early career experiences include intern roles at Tuckers Solicitors and Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP, providing exposure to high-profile criminal trials and significant legal claims. Shani holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Warwick, a Master of Laws - LPC LLM from The University of Law, and completed the SRA Professional Skills Course at The University of Law.
