Wally Thurston

Wally Thurston started their work experience in 1996 at CR Software, LLC as a Developer. Wally began as a support analyst and eventually moved up to become a C developer primarily working on the base code. In 2012, CR Software was purchased by FICO and Wally became a member of the FICO team. Wally held the role of Engineer II from November 2012 to December 2015, where they primarily worked with the programming language C and wrote shell scripts to support C programs. From December 2015 to July 2021, Wally served as a Lead Software Engineer at FICO, in charge of the conversion process extraction and fixing any issues. In July 2021, they joined C&R Software as a Lead Software Engineer.

Wally Thurston attended Strayer University-Maryland from 1995 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Prior to that, between 1992 and 1995, they studied at Northern Virginia Community College, although no degree or field of study information is provided for this period. In 1991 to 1992, Wally spent time at West Virginia University, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Remote Work Foundations certification from LinkedIn in August 2020.
