Vojtech Vosecky

Vojtech Vosecky is a prominent figure in the circular economy sector, currently serving as the Founder of The Circular Economist since March 2024, providing practical guidance for mastering the circular economy. Vojtech holds an Associate position at Circle Economy since November 2020, advocating that recycling alone is insufficient for sustainable growth. As a Board Member at Cradlenet, Vojtech supports the transition to a circular economy through advisory services and networking. Experience also includes a brief role at Circular IQ, addressing organizational circularity and regulatory concerns, and serving as Chairman of The Steering Group for Circular Economy at the Magistrát hl. m. Praha, where Vojtech led experts in developing interventions for carbon neutrality in Prague by 2050. Previous contributions also include co-founding the Institut Cirkulární Ekonomiky, focusing on transforming sectors in Central Europe towards circularity, and a policy advisory role at the European Parliament. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and studies at Wageningen University & Research.
