Adam Matan

Adam Matan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Adam is currently working as the VP R&D at Craft.io since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Zoomin from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Adam worked as an R&D Manager at Wix.com, focusing on the Wix Corvid project. Adam was responsible for building a Serverless platform and managing a team.

Before their time at Wix, Adam was the Head of DevRel at Reshuffle, which is now part of Twitter. Adam held this position from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they served as an Advisory Board Member at VIOOZER from 2014 to 2017, where they also held the role of CTO. At VIOOZER, they designed and built a spatial Q&A search engine.

Adam's journey started at Yahoo! in 2012, where they worked as a Senior Java software developer. Adam was involved in developing real-time REST services and a sliding window storage solution. Prior to Yahoo!, they worked as a Software developer at Waze from 2009 to 2011.

In their early career, Adam held the role of Chairperson at the Hebrew University Science Students Union from 2007 to 2009. In this position, they were responsible for representing science students, developing web solutions, and managing the organization. Overall, Adam Matan has a strong background in R&D management, software development, and leadership positions.

Adam Matan attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a major in Computer Science. Additionally, they pursued an Amirim Honors Fellowship for Excellence in the Humanities, focusing on a minor in this field.
