Saimon Hossain

Saimon Hossain began their work experience at Tirzok Private Limited as a Junior Software Engineer in June 2021. During their time there, they developed OTP-powered signup and password reset addons for Odoo-based eCommerce clients, allowing customers to access websites using only their phones. Saimon also created RESTful APIs using FastAPI, replacing the traditional JsonRPC and solving coupling issues with frontend clients. Additionally, they developed Django-powered eCommerce and corporate websites and deployed them using Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx, and gunicorn. Saimon's work at Tirzok Private Limited ended in February 2022.

In March 2022, Saimon Hossain joined Craftsmen as a Software Development Engineer-I. In this role, they collaborated with M2A Media to provide Video on Demand (VOD) and Live Streaming solutions for DAZN. Saimon wrote scalable and efficient Python code, conducted load tests on live caches, and identified performance bottlenecks. Saimon engineered sub-second caching for manifests, reducing the origins' load by 12% and enabling DAZN to expand multicast streaming using Broadpeak. Saimon'swork at Craftsmen is ongoing.

Saimon Hossain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Port City International University, completing the program from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they received a certification in Software Quality Assurance from TestDome in March 2021.
