Mike Bifulco

Mike Bifulco has a diverse range of work experience. Mike is currently a Co-founder and CTO at Craftwork, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Podcast Host for Software Daily starting in May 2022. Mike co-founded APIs You Won't Hate in 2019 and served as a co-host for the podcast. Also in 2019, they created and managed the Tiny Improvements Newsletter, where they shared their experience as a serial entrepreneur, UX designer, and front-end developer. From 2022 to 2022, Mike worked at Stripe as a Staff Developer Advocate, where they authored blog posts, filmed videos, and spoke at conferences about Stripe's APIs. Mike joined Google in 2020 as a Developer Advocate Tech Lead and Manager for Google Assistant, where they created educational content and worked with developers to build voice integrations. From 2020 to 2021, Mike volunteered as a Front End Development Team Lead for rebuildblackbusiness.com, coordinating work on the Gatsby site. Before that, they worked as a Technical Director for Aquent Gymnasium, a MOOC platform, from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, they co-founded and served as CEO of smpl coworking software, a SaaS platform for coworking operators, from 2017 to 2020. Lastly, Mike founded and hosted the Let's Talk Design Podcast from 2013 to 2019.

Mike Bifulco completed their Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Connecticut from 2005 to 2009. Mike then pursued a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University from 2011 to 2014. In 2004 and 2005, they briefly attended Virginia Tech, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, Mike obtained certifications in "JavaScript & jQuery Survival Guide" from Gymnasium and Aquent Gymnasium in February 2017.
