Brian Nienhaus has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising industry. Brian began their career at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide in 1992, where they served as a Vice President and Account Director. From there, they joined FCB Global in 1996 as a Senior Vice President and Group Management Director. Brian then moved to McCann-Erickson in 2001, where they held the position of Senior Vice President and Group Account Director.
In 2003, Nienhaus joined Grey Group as Senior Vice President of Grey San Francisco. Brian then joined EURO RSCG in 2005 as a Senior Vice President and Group Account Director. In 2006, they transitioned to Cramer-Krasselt, where they served as a Senior Vice President and Group Account Director for six years.
Nienhaus had a brief stint at Digitas in 2012 as a Senior Vice President of Account Management and Sprint Relationship Lead. Brian then returned to Cramer-Krasselt in 2014 as an Executive Vice President, Senior Director at BBDO. In 2016, they founded and served as the President and CEO of We Are Unlimited. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the President and CEO of Velocity OMC at Omnicom.
In 2019, Nienhaus joined the 4A's as an Executive Vice President, overseeing Membership Engagement and Development for Holding Companies and Growth. Their most recent role is as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Cramer-Krasselt, where they returned in 2023 to support the agency's growth and interconnection with clients.
Brian Nienhaus completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Purdue University Northwest in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing and Advertising from Michigan State University.
