David Futcher

Mr David Futcher is Assistant Head, Director of IT. He has enjoyed working at Cranleigh for more than 16 years, during which time he has held a wide range of roles. Mr Futcher combines his strategic role with teaching Computing, Music and Music Technology at both the Senior and Prep Schools. This gives him a real appreciation of the 7-18 philosophy and a connection to what goes on in the classroom.

IT underpins so much of the life of the School and Mr Futcher finds it very rewarding to create opportunities for everyone at Cranleigh to embrace new technology in what is becoming an increasingly important area. Away from wires he is a member of the School choirs and has a young family to keep him on his toes.
