Matthew Quirey

Matthew Quirey is an experienced landscape designer and arborist currently serving as the Landscape Designer + Arborist Lead at CRANSTON since February 2023. Previously, Matthew held the role of Landscape Design & Research Fellow at The Ray Highway from August 2020 to January 2023, where designs and research on roadside landscapes were spearheaded. Matthew's academic background includes a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Public Horticulture from the University of Delaware. Early career roles included horticultural management at Forest Lawn and experience as a conservation associate at the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation. Other positions included hands-on roles in horticulture, arborist services, and food service, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in landscape design and environmental stewardship.
