Karyn Azevedo

Karyn Azevedo has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Karyn began their career as an Intern at Workbench LTDA in 2011. In 2013, they worked independently as a teacher. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Mobile Application and Web Developer at Scipopulis. Karyn then moved to Micro Focus in 2017, where they worked as a Presales Engineer. In 2019, they joined Jscrambler as a Presales Engineer, where they worked with web security solutions focused on JavaScript Protection and Client-side Monitoring. In 2021, they became a Technical Sales Engineer at ebankIT Omnichannel Innovation. Karyn is currently a Solution Engineer at Crate.io.

Karyn Azevedo has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they obtained in 2017. Karyn then participated in an Exchange Program at UNSW in 2014-2015, studying Computer Science. In 2018, they began a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Mining and Data Processing at Universidade do Porto, which they are currently pursuing. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera (Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, obtained in November 2022), Astronomer (Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals, obtained in July 2022), and LinkedIn (Communication Foundations, obtained in January 2021; and Learning Virtualization, obtained in October 2017).
