Joan Coco Marcial

Joan Coco Marcial has over 10 years of work experience in the non-profit and corporate sectors. In 2009, they began their career as a Youth Program Leader with the YMCA of Greater Long Beach, where they planned and implemented a technology-focused program for children. In 2010, they moved on to become a Human Resources Assistant at Choices R Us. Following this, they were a Development Coordinator at New Life Beginnings Inc. from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they were also a Development & Activities Coordinator at U.S. VETS (United States Veterans Initiative), where they coordinated donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition activities and led three major annual fundraising events that generated over $50K in monetary donations. In 2017, they became a Development & Fundraising Manager at GOODWILL, SERVING THE PEOPLE OF SOUTHERN LOS ANGELES COUNTY, where they developed outreach events and cultivated and engaged donors. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Development Director at Tichenor Clinic for Children. Currently, they are a Project Development Coordinator at CRATE Modular, Inc.

Joan Coco Marcial received a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2013. Joan Coco studied Public Administration from 2011 to 2013.
