Rulian Barros

Rulian Barros, PhD, EIT, is an accomplished Transportation Engineer currently employed at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly since August 2022. Rulian's academic journey includes serving as a Ph.D. Candidate and Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Mississippi from August 2018 to October 2022, where responsibilities encompassed assisting over 210 students, teaching transportation engineering courses, and overseeing research projects. Rulian has a comprehensive background in civil engineering, having held positions such as Graduate Instructor and Summer Research Student, along with experience as a Civil Engineering Assistant and Intern in various firms since 2011. Rulian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi and has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Cefet/RJ, complemented by specialized education in Highway Technician.
