Geir Vassbotn

Geir Vassbotn has a strong background in project management, with extensive experience in implementing technical solutions and deploying them to various organizations. Geir started their career as a System Consultant at A/S EDB in 1988 and then went on to work as a Consultant at ISI Finans og Forsikring as in 1991. Geir also served as a System Consultant at Forenede Forsikring from 1991 to 1992 and as a Systems Manager IT at Norske Liv as from 1994 to 1997. Geir then worked as a Senior Consultant at ISI as from 1997 to 1998 and as a Senior Advisor at Guide Consulting from 1998 to 2000. Geir joined Devoteam daVinci as (previous daVinci Consulting as) in 2000 and worked there as a Senior Project Manager until 2012. During this time, they managed several projects for organizations such as the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Organisation (NAV), the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI), and the National Insurance Administration. Currently, Geir is employed as the Head of Project Management at Crayon AS, where they oversee projects related to datacenter migration and software modernization.

Geir Vassbotn attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1991 to 1993, where they studied Economics. Prior to that, they studied IT - Systemering og Databehandling at the University of Agder (UiA) from 1986 to 1988, earning a Høyskolekandidat degree.
