Mark Smith

Mark Smith is an experienced welding professional with a career spanning over three decades in various technical and managerial roles. Currently serving as Welding Technical Lead at CRC Evans since January 2023, Mark has previously held similar positions at Pipeline Technique from January 2021 to January 2023 and BP as a Materials & Welding Engineer from February 2020 to January 2021. Mark's extensive background includes leadership roles at Forsyths Ltd and Pipeline Technique Ltd, where expertise in welding management and engineering was developed. Initial experience began at R&M Engineering Ltd as a Welding Engineer and a Trainee Welding Engineer at J Ray McDermott. Academic credentials include a Welding Engineering Diploma obtained from The Welding Institute between 2012 and 2015, along with education at Cranfield University and Inverness College.
