Jay Rozzi

Jay Rozzi has extensive work experience in the field of advanced research and development, particularly in the areas of advanced manufacturing, materials processing, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and lasers. Jay started their career as an Engineer at United Technologies from 1991 to 1993. Jay then worked as a Senior Engineer at Raytheon Missiles & Defense from 1997 to 1999. Since 1999, Jay has been with Creare, where they initially worked as an Engineer, applying their expertise in various fields. Jay later became a Principal Engineer and a Partner, leading the Advanced Manufacturing business area. Jay has published extensively and has commercialized research and development results with key industry partners, with several pending patents. Some of the innovations they have contributed to include Cryogenic Machining and the Fastener Measurement Tool, currently used in F-35 production by Lockheed.

Jay Rozzi has an extensive education history in the field of engineering. Jay obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Purdue University, graduating between the years of 1985 to 1989. Jay then pursued their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) at the same institution, completing their degree from 1989 to 1991. Jay Rozzi furthered their education by earning a Ph.D. in Thermal/Fluid Sciences from Purdue University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. With these qualifications, they have built a strong foundation in both mechanical engineering and thermal/fluid sciences.
