Joyce Sprau

Joyce Sprau has over 30 years of experience in product development and project management. Joyce started their career as a Mechanical Tool Designer at Dukane Corporation in 1985. In 1988, they joined Motorola, Inc as a Senior Mechanical Product Designer and later became a Senior Mechanical Staff Designer. At Motorola, they managed project development and designed mechanical equipment for the Cellular Infrastructure Advanced Products Group.

In 1996, Sprau joined The Marketing Store as a Project Engineering Manager and eventually became the Senior Director. Joyce managed the National and Global Engineering teams and developed timelines for delivering licensed products to the McDonald's system. Joyce also provided cost-saving solutions and presented a new Global Happy Meal process. Additionally, they engineered the first LED and LCD screen electronic technology in a Happy Meal Toy.

From 2008 to 2009, Sprau worked as the VP of Product Design & Development at Strottman International, where they led the engineering and design of premium toys and retail for various clients.

From 2009 to 2012, Sprau served as the Manager of Product Development at Radio Flyer, directing a team of engineers and designers in developing retail products. Joyce also managed vendor relations and production start-ups for new products.

From 2012 to 2014, Sprau was the Manager of Product Lifecycle Management at Lastar, where they led a team of Product Managers and managed the existing product line of Audio Visual cabling and connection solutions.

Since 2014, Sprau has been with Creata, initially as the Senior Project Manager and later as the Vice President - Product Development. In this role, they manage timelines, model development, sourcing, costing, brand management, concept development, and manufacturing for the Creata Retail Division. Joyce also works closely with Asia teams to meet client expectations and delivery schedules.

Joyce Sprau, CPM holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Olivet Nazarene University, which was obtained from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they have earned an Associate of Science Degree in Engineering and an Associate of Technology Degree in Computer Aided Design from Elgin Community College, both obtained in 1990. Joyce is also certified in Project Management (CPM) from Xavier University, although the specific month of attainment is not provided, it was achieved in 2013.
