Tom Base

Tom Base has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the Chief Executive Officer of Creating a Positive Environment, Inc., where they oversaw all corporate and non-clinical functions and implemented new software systems to significantly increase revenue and expand the workforce. Prior to that, they worked as a Healthcare Consultant for Baseline LLC and as the Managing Director, Healthtech for Boomtown Accelerators. In these roles, they sourced and negotiated strategic partnerships and invested in healthtech startups. Tom also has experience in the mental health field, having served as the Chief Business Development Officer for Mental Health Partners and the Business Development Director for the Mental Health Center of Denver. Tom has also worked in business development and operations for CHDI Foundation, Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Frost, and RBC Capital Markets. Tom began their career as an Air Defense Control Officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Tom Base holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the United States Naval Academy. Tom also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In addition, they have completed a course in The Business of Healthcare from The Wharton School. Tom Base has additional certifications in NMLS (CA, CO, FL, NV, OR, and TX) from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) and Series 7, 63 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), although they are currently inactive.
