Dr. Lisa Dethridge

Dr. Lisa Dethridge is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in technology, research, and creative industries. Currently holding positions as a Technologist and Senior Research Fellow at RMIT since 2000, Dr. Dethridge also serves as a Technical Advisor for auDA and as a Peer at the Australia Council for the Arts. Previous roles include Research Fellow at CSIRO and Associate Researcher at OpenAI. With a foundation in script and story development at prominent companies such as MTV and CBS, Dr. Dethridge's early career spanned communications in aerospace research and research fellowship at the UNDP. Dr. Dethridge's educational achievements include a PhD in Media Ecology from New York University and multiple degrees from the University of Melbourne, complemented by training in leadership and reconciliation with Indigenous culture.
