Jinglei Zhang has worked in the field of biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and molecular biology since 2001. In 2001, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University. In 2002, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Science. In 2005, they worked as a Graduate Student at Arizona State University and completed three multidisciplinary research projects. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Postdoc Fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they gained extensive experience in mammalian cell culture and cell based biochemical analytical techniques. Since 2015, they have been working as a Senior Research Scientist & VP Business Development at Creative Biolabs, where they help clients evaluate the feasibility of projects, designs experiments and prepares quote proposals, and provides consultations and trouble shooting for obstacles met in processing projects.
Jinglei Zhang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from Arizona State University between 2005 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Peking University in the School of Life Science between 1998 and 2002.
