Bill Ostendorf

Bill Ostendorf is the founder and president of Creative Circle Media Solutions, a leading training, consulting, and design firm in the newspaper industry. Bill has more than 25 years of experience in the field, and has worked with clients in 23 countries.

Ostendorf began their career in advertising, working as an AME/Visuals at The Plain Dealer. Bill helped create the first local news section for the paper, led a redesign, and integrated color into the paper's operations. Bill then left to start their own company, Creative Circle Media Consulting, Inc.

As the owner and founder of Creative Circle Media Consulting, Ostendorf led the company to become one of the largest media training, consulting, and design firms in the world. Under their guidance, the company has redesigned more than 700 newspapers and 600 web sites, and trained thousands of journalists.

In addition to their work with Creative Circle Media Solutions, Ostendorf is also a member of the board of directors for the American Society of Newspaper Editors (ASNE) Foundation.

Bill Ostendorf graduated from Northwestern University with a BSJ in Journalism and a MSJ in Journalism, management, law, education.
