Thomas Barthuel started their work experience in 2008 as a Junior Auditor at Mazars Group. In 2009, they worked as an M&A Associate at UBS Investment Bank for a brief period. From 2010 to 2014, Thomas worked at Bain & Company, starting as an Associate Consultant and progressing to Senior Associate Consultant and eventually Consultant Senior. In 2014, they joined Google as a Business Performance Manager for Waze. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles at Waze, including Head of EMEA New Markets and Head of EMEA-APAC Strategy & Sales Ops. In 2019, Thomas became the General Manager of JUMP at Uber. Thomas then transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Phenix in 2020 and held that position until January 2023. After leaving Phenix, Thomas worked as a GM / Interim Management (COO, CRO) / Advisor for various clients, including Phenix, Google by Adecco, and Globbz. In April 2023, they started working as a Writer for Éditions JC Lattès, Le Masque, La Grenade, and Nouveaux Jours. Lastly, Thomas joined Creative Fabrica in June 2023 as the Chief Operating Officer for their Creator Economy platform.
Thomas Barthuel completed their education from 2004 to 2010. Thomas first attended Lycée Hoche from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Economics in the Classe préparatoire ECS program. Later, from 2006 to 2010, they enrolled at HEC Paris, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Business. In 2007, Thomas participated in the Erasmus program at University College Dublin, where they focused on studying Economics. Additionally, they had a short-term experience at McGill University in 2009, during which they pursued an MBA Exchange program with a concentration in Strategy.
