Imraan Farukhi

Imraan Farukhi has a diverse work experience history, with roles ranging from teaching to legal positions. Imraan started their career as an IP Litigation Paralegal at Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP in 2006. Imraan then interned at Atlantic Records in 2007, working in Legal & Business Affairs. In 2008, they served as an In-House Legal Fellow at the Screen Actors Guild. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Associate of Evan D. Krauss, Esq. at Gray Krauss Des Rochers LLP. Imraan then joined Bienstock & Michael, P.C. as an Associate from 2011 to 2016.

From 2013 to 2017, Farukhi worked as an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University. Imraan then transitioned to Fox Rothschild LLP as an Entertainment Associate from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Owner of Farukhi Law, and also took on the role of Assistant Professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

In 2020, Farukhi joined Creative Intell as a Subject Matter Expert / Director of Contracts and Education. Throughout their career, Farukhi has gained expertise in various fields including public communications, law, education, and entertainment.

Imraan Farukhi holds a J.D., Cum Laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Prior to that, they earned a B.A., Cum Laude from Villanova University with a major in Communication (Film and Media Concentration) and a minor in Philosophy. Imraan also completed an Academic Internship Semester at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars. Additionally, Imraan Farukhi attended Shady Side Academy, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown.
