Ian McDaniel

Ian McDaniel has over 19 years of work experience. Ian began their career in 2002 as Principle Designer at i-Way Solutions, where they were responsible for the completion of all new and existing sites. In 2005, they moved to Shopzilla as a Front End Developer, where they spearheaded the creation of a small lightweight Javascript framework for building more interactive elements for the Shopzilla and BizRate consumer sites. In 2007, they became the Director of Product Development at Geni.com, where they oversaw the creation and development of many key innovative features of the Geni.com website. In 2008, they joined Yammer as a Product Engineer and Founding Member, where they were responsible for designing and building much of the front end interface for Yammer.com. In 2011, they moved to Pocket Change as the Director of Front End Development, where they were responsible for the building of a large scale mobile web app for users to redeem loyalty points for physical goods. In 2014, they became the Cofounder & Chief Product Guy at TranslationExchange.com. In 2018, they joined Nova Credit as an Engineering. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head Of Engineering at Creative Juice.

Ian McDaniel attended the University of Southern California from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
