Afika Nxumalo

Afika Nxumalo is the Founder of Pop College, the world's first Ivy League songwriting school. Afika has experience as a Copywriter at Creative Theory Agency, a Songwriter at BMG - The New Music Company, a Travel Host & Producer at Rolling Stone, and a June Jordan Teaching Artist Fellow at Columbia University. Afika was also a finalist in the TEDxUNC Student Speaker Competition and served as an Executive Producer at Rec One Entertainment. Afika holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Teaching Artist Fellow degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from Columbia University.
