Matt Nyland

Matt Nyland has over 25 years of experience in sales and business development. Matt currently serves as the SVP, Head of Global Sales at CreatorIQ since October 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Enterprise Sales at CreatorIQ from November 2021 to October 2023. Before joining CreatorIQ, Matt worked at Alegion as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development from December 2019 to November 2021. Matt also had a brief role as the Vice President of Sales at Alegion from September 2019 to December 2019. Previously, Matt held various positions at Khoros from February 2014 to September 2019, including Regional Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Sales at Mass Relevance (which was acquired by Spredfast), and Regional Vice President of Sales at Spredfast (which was acquired by Vista Equity). Matt also worked at Salesforce as a Senior Account Executive from September 2011 to May 2013, at Coverity as a Global Account Manager from August 2010 to September 2011, at VMware as an Enterprise Account Executive from September 2007 to August 2010, at Citrix as a Strategic Account Executive from December 2002 to August 2007, at EMC as an Enterprise Account Manager from June 2000 to November 2002, and at Oracle as an Enterprise Account Manager from September 1995 to June 2000. Overall, Matt has a strong background in sales and has worked for various tech companies such as CreatorIQ, Alegion, Khoros, Salesforce, Coverity, VMware, Citrix, EMC, and Oracle.

Matt Nyland obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. In addition, they earned a certification in Vista Sales Accelerate 2019 - VSA4 from Vista Equity Partners in 2019.
