Austin Heisch

Austin Heisch is an experienced brewing professional currently serving as the Director of Brewery Operations at Creature Comforts Brewing Co. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Austin was the Brewer Manager at Deep Ellum Brewing Company from August 2022 to January 2023. Austin's extensive background in brewing includes over a decade at Rahr & Sons Brewing Co., where roles included Director of Brewing Operations, Head Brewer, Brewer, and Cellarman/Assistant Brewer from December 2011 to March 2022. Earlier in Austin’s career, a position as a Technical Communicator at PDX was held from April 2009 to December 2011. Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing, Technical Writing, and German from the University of North Texas, earned between 2005 and 2009.
