Ashwin Purohit

Ashwin Purohit is a data scientist at CRED since November 2021, focusing on building cred cash. Prior experience includes serving as a risk analyst at Udaan.com, where Ashwin tackled informal credit lending challenges for Indian SMEs using machine learning. At OYO, Ashwin worked as a business analyst, implementing A/B testing frameworks and modeling data to enhance user engagement and conversion rates. Earlier roles included a machine learning internship at Trendwise Analytics, where Ashwin developed a diabetic retinopathy detection model and a robotic process automation project, as well as summer internships at OfBusiness.com and Mitsubishi Electric Automation. Ashwin holds a Master of Technology in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
