Jorge Andres Gonzalez Sierra

Jorge Andres Gonzalez Sierra has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jorge Andres is currently working as the Lead Data Architect at Credicorp Capital since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Data Engineering Director at Scotiabank Colpatria from April to September 2021.

In 2019, Jorge founded Abanan, a company that provides digital consulting services to businesses of all sizes. Jorge Andres served as the Founding Member & CTO until September 2021, focusing on helping clients achieve their digital potential and providing accounting advisory services.

Jorge also worked at BBVA Colombia as a Data Architect from December 2018 to March 2021. Their responsibilities included implementing digital strategies using data and leading technical data governance, visual analytics, and data infrastructure projects.

Before joining BBVA Colombia, Jorge worked at Banco Pichincha Colombia as an Analyst Senior DWH from May to December 2018.

Jorge Andres also has experience as an Analyst Especializado at Banco AV Villas from June 2016 to March 2018, where they coordinated software development activities using IBM Infosphere tools for data quality and governance projects.

Jorge's early career includes roles as an Engineer of Software at Todosistemas STI from October 2015 to March 2016, an Senior Engineer at Contact & Business IT from November 2011 to September 2015, an Analyst of IT Architecture at Banco de Occidente, and an Analyst of Support at Banco de Occidente from December 2008 to March 2011. In these roles, they contributed to various projects involving software support, system architecture, and development.

Jorge Andrés González Sierra obtained a Master's degree in Information Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2002 to 2008, earning a degree in Systems and Computer Science.
