Luis M. C.

Luis M. C. has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Luis M. began their career in 2010 as a Freelance Software Engineer, followed by a role as a Full Stack Developer at Mondo in 2016. In 2017, they took on two roles, Senior Software Engineer at Capital One and Software Engineer at the NYC Department of Education. In 2018, they were the Head of Engineering at WinWin until it was acquired by Oportun, where they then served as a Staff Software Engineer. In 2019, they were the Head of Engineering at Minded and in 2021, they founded Capablanca, fully automating compliance standards. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Credit Mountain.

Luis M.C. obtained their Ph.D in Art Theirtory from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their M.A. in Art Theirtory from the same institution in 2007. Luis M. also obtained their B.A., Summa cum laude, Honors in Major in Art Theirtory from the University of Houston in 2005. In 2015, they obtained a Web Development Immersive certification from General Assembly. Additionally, they obtained a Pattern Discovery in Data Mining certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in March 2015.
