Roland Scheck has extensive work experience in various roles related to analytics, reporting, and database management. Most recently, they have held the position of SVP / Director of Analytics at Credit Union Loan Source since February 2021. Prior to that, from 2008 onwards, Roland owned their own company called Lapsch LLC.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Roland worked at Citizens Bank for several years, starting as a Database Risk Manager in 2007 and progressing to roles such as Risk Reporting Manager, Risk Infrastructure Manager, and Manager of Credit Data Services. During this time, they gained expertise in project management, test management, business and IT liaison, bureau and credit data subject matter expertise, and data analysis using T-SQL, PL/SQL, Netezza SQL, and SAS.
Roland also worked at FM Global as a Project Manager and Lead Business Analyst in 2006, where they demonstrated their skills in managing projects and analyzing business requirements. Before that, Roland was a Programmer/Database Analyst at Citizens Bank from 2005 to 2006, responsible for designing and creating MS Access applications to support various auto finance functions and acting as a liaison between the systems department and the auto finance department.
In 2004, Roland worked as a Programmer/Database Analyst on a consultant basis at United Natural Foods, where they utilized Agile methodology for business analysis and development and created an MS Access application to support purchasing, invoicing, and budgeting processes. Roland also developed standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams for business processes.
Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at CVS Caremark Corporation from 2002 to 2004, and had an internship at The Conference Exchange in 2001.
Roland Scheck completed their BSBA in Computer Information Systems at Bryant University from 1998 to 2002. Afterward, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained an MSIS (Master of Science in Information Systems) with a specialization in Management Information Systems in the years 2002-2003.
