Kristen Valencia

Kristen Valencia is an experienced sustainability and environmental specialist currently serving as the Coordinator of Community Stewardship at Credit Valley Conservation since April 2021, where previous roles included Program Assistant for Community Outreach and Rural Landowner Outreach. Kristen's background also includes significant experience as a Crew Leader for the Conservation Youth Corps, facilitating various stewardship events. Prior to this, Kristen worked as a Test and Exam Invigilator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, overseeing and accommodating students during assessments. Additional experience includes an Environmental Programming Assistant role at Rouge Valley Foundation and Conservation Centre, as well as a PEYA Program Assistant position with Ecosource. Kristen holds a Master's of Science in Sustainability Management and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
