Udaya Kumar Hebbar

Mr. Udaya Kumar Hebbar oversees all the activities of CreditAccess Grameen as Managing Director and CEO. He has been the main architect and driving force for the overall success and growth of CreditAccess Grameen since 2010. He has close to 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CA-Grameen, he was Associate Director at Barclays Bank. Other previous positions include Assistant Manager at Corporation Bank and Assistant General Manager at ICICI Bank, India’s second largest bank.

Mr. Hebbar has immense exposure to all banking sector operations, including rural, agri and micro-banking fields. In the course of his banking career, he has successfully implemented Six Sigma Quality Initiatives, Five-S principles for workplace management and ISO Standard.

Mr. Udaya Kumar Hebbar holds a master’s degree in commerce, CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers and is also a graduate in banking operations and technology from BAI, USA.
