John Pereira

John Pereira is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and software architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at CreditorWatch since August 2023, John previously held the position of Senior Back End Developer at Rentman from March 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading backend initiatives for AV and event management solutions. Prior roles at Gapstars and Salpo Technologies saw John excel as a Software Architect and Senior Tech Lead, respectively. John co-founded Instawell GmbH, a platform for mental health professionals, and has a strong foundation in software engineering from positions at neXva Inc, Dedoko Ltd, Proporta, and Sunray Electronics. John Pereira holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from SLIIT and a High School Diploma from St. Joseph's College, Colombo.
