Tate Allen

Tate Allen has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Starting from 2015, Tate worked as an IT Intern at SmartPak, where they assisted in the rollout and maintenance of a Microsoft SharePoint installation. They also developed a C# tool for transferring Active Directory members to the Microsoft Azure cloud. In 2016, as an App Development Intern at SmartPak, Tate utilized Ionic and React Native frameworks to build cross-platform mobile apps. They also created a modular web scraping platform in C# for generating valuable data.

After that, Tate served as an App Development Consultant at SmartPak from 2017 to 2018, where they built and published cross-platform apps using React Native and implemented native functionality in Objective-C and Java. They also developed a serverless backend using JavaScript and AWS technologies. Tate then joined Gift Hero as an App Development Consultant from 2017 to 2019, where they built and published a cross-platform share extension app for iOS and Android using React Native and Gift Hero's backend REST API.

In 2019, Tate became self-employed and worked as a React Native Developer. They built a cross-platform mobile app for a client, utilizing React Native and JavaScript, and integrating an existing REST API. In 2020, Tate joined PaymentWorks as a Senior Software Engineer & Tech Lead, managing software engineering projects as well as serving as a technical lead. Currently, Tate is a Senior Software Engineer at CREED, starting from 2022, where their specific role details are not provided.

Tate Allen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from UC Santa Barbara, completing their education from 2015 to 2018.
