Janie Hanson

Janie Hanson started their work experience as a Funding Analyst at Capital One Home Loans in February 2006. Janie then worked as an Anti Money Laundering Investigator and a Risk Specialist at the same company before becoming a Quality Assurance Specialist. Janie was later promoted to a Quality Assurance Specialist II (Senior) and then a Quality Assurance Specialist III (Principal) before transitioning to a Principal Risk Specialist. In 2017, Janie joined USAA as a Real Estate Oversight Governance Advisor Lead and worked in that role until 2019. Janie then served as a Business Risk and Controls Lead - Real Estate Servicing Exam Management before becoming a Director, Business Risk and Controls - Real Estate Exam Management in June 2020. Janie worked at USAA until March 2023. Currently, they are the VP of Bank Compliance at Crescent Bank, starting in March 2023.

Janie Hanson obtained a Bachelor of Art and Humanities degree in History from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they attended from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications, including Lean for Services Certification from Capital One Home Loans in September 2013 and Business Process Management (BPM) Certification from Capital One Auto Finance in March 2011.
