Joel Morris

Joel Morris has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Joel is currently serving as the Director of Technology at Crescent Pass Energy, where they have been leading IT initiatives since 2020. Joel'sresponsibilities include implementing and optimizing technology initiatives such as SCADA Telemetry, Field Data Capture, Business Intelligence Analytics, and Decentralized Application Access.

Prior to this, Joel worked as a Senior Information Technology Consultant for various companies in different industries, including oil & gas, capital markets, construction, government, and healthcare. Joel has experience with compliance requirements such as SOX, ITIL, PCS, and HIPAA.

Joel also served as a Senior System Administrator at JLL Capital Markets AB from 2019 to 2020, where they contributed to the system administration tasks.

In their earlier roles, Joel worked as a System Administrator II at Orion Marine Group from 2016 to 2019. Joel successfully managed projects related to migration, VPN conversion, and access control upgrades.

Before that, Joel worked as a System Administrator at Cobait, where they implemented disaster recovery plans, improved efficiency, and provided IT infrastructure solutions for clients. Joel also supervised the call center help desk and provided medical application support.

Joel's experience also includes working as a Systems Administrator at WildHorse Resources Management Company, LLC and an IT Support Technician at SimplexGrinnell.

Joel Morris attended Sam Houston State University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Joel majored in Political Science and Government during their time at the university.
