Shelby Strauss

Shelby Strauss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

In 2010, they interned at both Stofa's Auto Services and Arlington Fire District.

In 2011, they worked as a Logistics Coordinator for Hopkins Hosting Society at Johns Hopkins University Undergraduate Admissions.

In 2013, they interned with the Plant Electrical Department at Exelon Nuclear.

In 2014, they were a Fall Intern at Army Research Lab.

From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Jarvik Heart Incorporated in multiple roles. Shelby started as a Mechanical Engineer in August 2015 and became a Supervisor in September 2016. From July 2017 to March 2020, they worked as a Manufacturing Manager for the VAD Team.

Currently, starting in October 2020, they work as a Process Engineer II at Cresilon.

Shelby Strauss started their education journey at Poughkeepsie Day School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Shelby then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at The Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2015 and completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management.
