Jack Sawyer, J.D., is a Managing Director for Cresset in the greater Atlanta region. He most recently served as Southeast Region President for Wilmington Trust. In that role, he was responsible for leading wealth advisory services in Georgia, including planning, trusts, investment management, family office and private banking services.
Jack has extensive experience in charitable planning, trusts, estates, and private foundations, and is also a fiduciary attorney. He serves on the boards of directors for several organizations, including Andee’s Army, Nsoro Foundation, High Museum of Art, and the Georgia Museum of Art.
Jack received the American Jewish Committee’s National Human Relations Award in 2011, and was honored by the board of the Atlanta History Center at the Swan House Ball in 2009. He was also honored by the National Black Arts Festival in 2014, and the United Negro College Fund in 2016. Jack has been recognized as one of Atlanta’s 500 most powerful leaders by Atlanta Magazine for both the inaugural year of 2019 and 2020*. Jack earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
