Martin Harris

Martin Harris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Martin began their career as a Full-time Missionary at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1996 to 1998. Martin then worked as a Sports Writer at The Daily Universe from 2001 to 2001, and as a Sports Talk Show Host at KOVO Sports 960AM (Fox affiliate) from 2002 to 2002. From 2000 to 2003, they were a Journalist at Orem Geneva Times and Pulitzer Papers of Utah County, where they composed and edited articles on education, sports, and civic events.

Martin also gained experience as a Journalist at Times-Georgian from 2003 to 2004, responsible for section design and generating daily content. Martin then worked as an Editor/Writer at Elko Daily Free Press from 2004 to 2014, where they composed and edited daily content for Internet and print publications.

In 2013, Martin became the Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Silver State Fire and later joined Barrick Gold Corporation as a Communications Specialist from 2014 to 2015. Martin managed internal and external communications, including media relations for North America operations.

In 2016, Martin became the Operations Manager/AIT at Wellington Rehabilitation and Healthcare for a few months before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Martin was responsible for the clinical, financial, and cultural success of the facility until 2023 when they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Crestwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. In this position, they are leading a team of 15 and more than 100 employees to provide care and well-being for residents, staff, and visitors.

Martin Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Brigham Young University, which they earned from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Alan C. Pope High School from 1992 to 1996. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications as a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator from Texas Health and Human Services in September 2016 and as a Certified LNFA Preceptor from the same institution in September 2021.
