Jay Slay

Jay Slay is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in enterprise monitoring and automation. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Cribl since October 2023, Jay previously held multiple senior engineering roles at Splunk from March 2017 to August 2023, culminating in the position of Senior Principal Engineer. Prior to Splunk, Jay contributed to TIAA as Lead Engineer focusing on event management and automation frameworks, while also serving as Sr. IT Engineer overseeing enterprise monitoring tools from 2006 to March 2017. Jay's career began in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included team leadership in enterprise systems management while utilizing Tivoli software from July 1998 to April 2006.
