Charles Umeh has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Charles started their career as a Medical Doctor at Infant Jesus Hospital, where they treated outpatients. Charles then worked as a Family Planning Media Advocate at DKT International, where they educated people about family planning methods through a radio program. After that, they served as a National Project Manager at GiftedMom, supervising nurses and collecting data on immunization and antenatal care. Charles also worked as a Medical Doctor at RoyalCare Foundation, where they provided medical care. Additionally, they worked as a Supervisor at the Centre for Clinical Care and Research. Charles then joined Parkers Mobile Clinic and served as a Program Manager, supervising nurses and establishing partnerships. Charles later became the Executive Director of the same clinic, where they designed and planned health programs. From 2019 to 2022, they attended The University of Edinburgh to pursue a Master's degree in Surgical Science.
In 2021, they began their studies at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, where they are expected to complete a Masters in Global Public Health in 2023. Their field of study in this program is International Public Health/International Health.
