Cynthia Nugent

Cynthia Nugent has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Cynthia started their career as a Teacher's Assistant at TLC Montessori School in 2003 and then moved on to work as a Teacher's Assistant at West York Area School District from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, Cynthia joined Words & Numbers as a Senior Editor and Client Manager. At Words & Numbers, they provided content development services to various clients in the education sector. Their role involved project management and creating interactive and print textbooks, online courses, and game-based learning materials. Cynthia worked at Words & Numbers until 2016.

Following their time at Words & Numbers, Cynthia worked at Wisewire Ed as a Learning Content Writer from an unspecified start date in 2016 to January 2021. Cynthia then took on the role of a Senior Educational Content Developer at Wisewire Ed from January 2021 to July 2021. Cynthia Nugent attended Loyola University Maryland from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Writing. In 1998, they also had a brief study abroad experience at Richmond, The American International University in London, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution. Additionally, Cynthia obtained a certification in Teaching Adult Literacy from Literacy Volunteers of America in May 1999.
