Lorraine Garvie

Lorraine Garvie has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Lorraine has held various leadership roles at different hotels and resorts. In their most recent position as Head of Commercial Operations at Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, they are responsible for overseeing the company's commercial operations. Prior to that, they served as Head of Events & Revenue at Crieff Hydro Hotel and Resort. Lorraine also worked at Fairmont St Andrews, where they held positions such as Commercial Director, Director of Rooms and Revenue, and Director of Revenue. Lorraine has experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing teams, and maximizing revenue and profit performance. Lorraine also worked at Conference Partners as an Account Manager, where they managed conferences and handled various aspects such as venue booking, accommodation, and sponsorship. Earlier in their career, they worked at The Green Hotel Golf & Leisure Resort Kinross as Director of Revenue and at Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh as Director of Revenue. Lorraine began their career at Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa as an Events and Reservations Manager, where they managed events and groups.

Lorraine Garvie attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Hospitality Management.
