Jay Dickerson

Jay Dickerson is a Senior Manifolds Engineer at Crimson Racing, responsible for the design, manufacturing, and testing of intake and exhaust manifolds for the 2024 and 2025 FSAE competition cars. Previous roles at Crimson Racing included Powertrain Assistant Lead, Junior Manifolds Engineer, and Powertrain Team Member, focusing on various aspects of vehicle design and safety. Jay has gained additional experience through co-op positions and internships at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. and Additive Manufacturing & Engineering, Inc., where responsibilities included coordinating test areas, maintaining documentation standards, and supporting project planning. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, with prior studies in Mathematics at The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a high school diploma from Bob Jones High School.
