Lisa Carricato is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in crisis intervention and mental health education. Currently serving as an Instructor at the Crisis Prevention Institute, Lisa trains individuals in nonviolent crisis intervention. Additionally, Lisa is a certified mental health first aid instructor with the Mental Health Commission of Canada and holds the title of Assist Trainer and safeTALK Trainer with Living Works Canada, specializing in suicide intervention skills and alertness training. Lisa's role as a Mental Health Educator with the Canadian Mental Health Association involves working at Sault College in the Mental Health Hub. Previously, Lisa worked as a Recreation Programmer at Sault Area Hospital. Educational qualifications include degrees in Psychology from Algoma University and Social Work from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
