Cong Zhou

Cong Zhou is a Senior Scientist at CRISPR Therapeutics, leading oligonucleotide chemistry and process development since May 2023. Previously, Cong served as Senior Scientist I at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, focusing on oligo synthesis process development and chemical modifications to enhance siRNA pharmacological properties. Prior to that, Cong held positions as Scientist II at Prime Medicine, where responsibilities included setting up an oligo synthesis lab and developing a chemistry platform for guide RNA synthesis, and at Wave Life Sciences, contributing to new chemistries in oligonucleotide synthesis. Cong's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Chemistry from Peking University, with extensive research experience in organic synthesis and modified oligonucleotides.
